Team VVV Rally ends 2005 with 7th podium of the season!

The stage was set for a showdown at the first ever running on the WPS Rally Bathurst ARC round at the hallowed Australian motorsport circuit. The Bathurst event put together a compact and technical Super Special Stage at the circuit and provided the teams with easilly the best service park facilities this year.

Without a doubt, the Toyota Rally South Australia served up the fastest and smoothest roads anywhere in the ARC. Despite earlier predictions of rain, the gods were smiling with clear skies and great racing.

Incredibly fast stages coupled with some tight, technical and extremely slippery sections meant that the team was working hard to post some solid results. Never too far off the leading pace set alternately by Will Orders and Eli Evans, the team pushed hard to claim 3rd place for the event.

With some excellent teamwork and the right set-up, consistent asnd skillful pacenoting resulted in an N4 class win and a 4th outright in a very well executed event. Staged over 116klm of Special Stages and organised by North Shore Sporting Car Club - The Shakedown Rally was a great success for all involved.
